Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
3/4 c Shortening 1 c Sugar 2 lg Eggs well beaten 5 tb Water 1/2 ts Salt 1 ts Cinnamon 2 c Flour 1 ts Soda 2 c Oatmeal regular 1/2 c Walnut meats; chopped 1 c Raisins Cream shortening, sugar and eggs, Cook raisins in water until tender. Drain. Add Salt, cinnamon, flour and soda to creamed mixture, then oatmeal and add raisins last. Droop from a spoon on greased cookie sheet 375 until done. ----- |
