Italian Meatball Cookies Recipe
1 c Shortening 1 1/2 c Sugar 3 Eggs 1 c Milk 1 ts Vanilla 5 c Flour 1 ts Cinnamon 1 ts Ground cloves 1 ts Nutmeg 3/4 c Cocoa 1 c Nutmeats; chopped 1 c Chocolate bits or chips 3/4 c Raisins Cream shortening, sugar. Add eggs, milk, vanilla, then remaining dry ingredients. Add nuts, chocolate bits and raisins. Form small balls. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375~F for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 10 dozen, more or less, depending on the size. ----- |
