Apple Jack Cake Recipe

-AVTA21A KIM CLEGG 1 Stick oleo

3/4 c White sugar

3/4 c Brown sugar

2 Eggs

1 ts Vanilla

1/2 ts Salt

1/2 ts Nutmeg

2 ts Cinnamon

2 ts Baking soda

2 c Flour

4 c Apples; chopped

1 c Raisins; coconut or

-nuts, opt

Mix first 5 ingreds & beat well. Add next four ingreds & mix well. Add flour & mix. Gently stir in appls & any optional ingreds. Oil & dust with sugar a 9 x 13 cake pan. Pour in cake mix & bake @ 350 for 45-50 min till apples are tender. From Janice Kessler, Sault Ste. Marie, MI
